Treasure Coast Offshore Fishing Report 5/15

Fishing really improved this week. Live bait moved onto the beaches and inshore wrecks, the fish followed suit and moved in closure to shore.   Sails were reported being caught in waters as shallow as 60 ft.

A consistent sail bite was present from 90 to 120ft.

The kingfish bite has been solid south of the St Lucie inlet with several smokers being caught.

The snapper bite has been great with many large mangroves and muttons being caught and a steady stream of lane snapper being landed.
