This Daiwa trolling rod is a quality rod built to last through years of rugged use.

This medium to heavy, fast-action rod comes in two lengths, 5 ½ and 6 feet. And it’s rated to handle 50 to 80 pounds. This trolling rod is a single piece and built specifically to handle saltwater fishing.

This Daiwa rod has a triangular-shaped grip that prevents the rod from twisting and gives you lasting comfort. The end of the rod has a removable cap and aluminum gimbal butt so it can be used in or out of a gimbal.

Daiwa consistently offers high-quality rods for reasonable prices; you can get this trolling rod for around $120.

This rod is a little longer than some other ones on our list, and not quite as rigid as the 120lb rods. We found this to be a great all-around trolling rod option. It can handle heavier weight and isn’t overly expensive.

This rod is thinner compared to some other ones on this list, so if your goal is to catch gigantic fish, you might want to go with a different option. This Fiblink rod also comes in a two-piece option at 6’ and 7’ 6”. The two-piece rods are both rated to handle 30-50lbs of line weight.

We recommend the sing piece rod because of the compact size and weight capacity. This rod is small, lightweight, around 18-25oz, and can handle all kinds of fish.

A few buyers were skeptical because this rod will only cost you $50-60, but everyone was impressed with the quality. The stainless steel rollers and build of the rod itself are impressive for the lower cost.

If you’re looking for a solid trolling rod and want to stick to a budget, this is a great option.
