St Lucie Inlet Fishing Report Week Of 6/6/20

This week for our St Lucie Inlet Fishing Report consisted of some wet and rough conditions that unfortunately led to a bleak week of fishing.  We experienced a very strong current that made bottom fishing rather difficult, but we had luck finding some good snapper while fishing higher in the water column.

Earlier in the week good numbers of sailfish were caught between 100′ and 200′.  Trips out had to be made in between the weather bands from the tropical storm in the gulf.

Luckily on Friday, we ground out a soggy afternoon of trolling leading to a great wahoo caught in a 150ft and a nice blackfin right behind it.  Next week’s weather conditions look greatly improved.

So we are looking forward to some summer fishing.

Captain Josh
