The week started with the best sailfish bite we have seen in awhile. There are plenty of threadfins around making it easy to live bait.
The sails were hot and heavy the first half of the week from 90 to 110 ft. The bite did slow down as the full moon cycle began but still quite a few being caught in as close as 70 ft and as deep as 150 ft.
A few schools of small peanut Mahi Mahi have been popping up giving a lucky fisherman or two a nice dinner, with the occasional gaffer being caught.
Some nice cobia have been mixed in as well some up to 30lbs.
Snapper bite out of the St Lucie Inlet has been inconsistent with a few hot spots found.
Thanks
Captain Josh
