St. Lucie Inlet Fishing Report 5/31

This week started off with a bang!

Marginal weather conditions lead to a strong Mahi bite starting out the week.  With lots of peanuts being caught with a few heavy lifters and a few excellent gaffers.

As the week progressed the Mahi bite slowed a little but the sails bite started to improve.  The mutton bite also seemed to slow this week but several nice gags were landed.

Plenty of life but frustrating conditions with small bait stealing Mahi’s and scattered weeds everywhere.
